About Game

Tales of Ibong Adarna is a video game made according to the story of the classic Filipino literature Ibong Adarna. With the purpose of creating a fresh way of telling the story of Ibong Adarna and to have that story added to the world of video games.

It is role-playing with a real-time combat system. Players experience becoming the main protagonist, which is Don Juan, and find Ibong Adarna to cure the King’s Illness.

The style and mechanics of Tales of Ibong Adarna will be in the form of a side-scrolling 2.5D role-playing game. Having the battle system of a hack-and-slash and the plot completely based on the Classic Filipino Literature, Ibong Adarna. The objectives focus more on the flow of the story, whilst still having side quests presented by Non-Playable-Character (NPCs). In addition, challenges such as time-battles, timed puzzles, and quick reaction time events are also included.
